Features of E- Shram Card Yojana :

The main objective of the e-Labor Portal is to create a database of unorganized sector workers such as migrant workers, construction workers, domestic workers, agricultural workers. On the basis of E Sharam Card, the benefits of government schemes can be given to the workers in unison. Workers registered on this portal will be able to get a job based on their skills.

The e-Labor Portal has been launched by the Department of Labor and Employment, Government of India.

e Shram Portal will create a database of more than 38 crore unorganized sector workers.

The CSC (Common Service Center) will assist in the preparation of this database.

The workers' database will be linked to the Aadhaar card.

The name, address, educational qualification, type of skills and information of the workers and their families will have to be filled through this portal.

Workers who register through this portal will be given the benefit of many government schemes.

Through the e-labor portal, workers will be given a 12-digit card, which will be valid in every state of the country.

Employees registered on the E-Shram Portal will be assisted in providing employment based on their occupation, skills and abilities.

Based on the database registered on the e-shram portal, the government will be able to come up with innovative and beneficial schemes keeping in view the interests of the workers.

What Evidence Required ?

The applicant beneficiary should not have paid Income Tax.

The age of the worker should be more than 16 years and less than 59 years.

The worker should not be a member of EPFO ​​/ ESIC.
